Three attempts to work twice

Three attempts to work twice, 2015

In the photographic work Three attempts to work twice, the repeated gesture, almost “photocopied”, of the three men shot from behind, with their arms and the three boards, tends to define the idea of an infinite reproducibility both as image and as action taken out of reality, suggesting a process work rather than a moment concluded in itself.
Within the still image the “film”sequence is not revealed except in his spatial extent of white, a previous frame, but missing, which expands the direction and the origin of the three men over their space image. The image recovered originally from an old photo – documentation, depicting a scene of work and construction of a bridge, then sectioned, analogically reproduces that moment.
